Inversion

A friend of mine who had never hiked before agreed to join me for a sunrise hike up Panorama Ridge. We woke up at 2 a.m., put on our headlamps, and made our way through the darkness and fog.

As we climbed higher, we finally broke through the fog. Below us was a sea of clouds, while the sunrise lit up the mountains around us. It was one of the most incredible conditions I have ever experienced.

Inversion is a reminder that sometimes the best views are waiting just above the clouds.
